Bolton Music Service (Greater Manchester Music Hub) is seeking to appoint an experienced Music Curriculum leader to the post of full time Teaching and Learning Manager ( Music Curriculum in Schools).This role will support schools in raising standards in the music curriculum and will support Bolton Music Service teachers in their school-based work.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience of teaching music in schools and of training other teachers and practitioners. They will have extensive experience of planning, evaluation and assessment in schools and will be able to create resources to support a range of school environments. They will have well-developed leadership and management skills and will contribute to the regional development of music in schools  through the Greater Manchester Music Hub networks.They will need to demonstrate key abilities to work independently, in a range of teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with pupils, parents, teachers, school leaders and partners.

Bolton Music Service is the lead organisation in the Greater Manchester Music Hub. You will have the chance to work for a vibrant local music service, currently expanding its offer to Blackburn with Darwen, along with the chance to interact with colleagues and partners  from across the region. You will also have the chance to co-design new projects at the regional level and contribute to the regional training programme for schools and Music Service practitioners.
