  • Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older. No under 14’s on the pitch. No under 2’s permitted in the stadium. All patrons attending the concert must hold a valid concert ticket. Age restrictions are subject to change.

  • Bag policy

    All ticket holders are now prohibited from bringing any bag into the stadium unless it is smaller than an A4 piece of paper (height: 297mm width: 210mm depth: 210mm). Bags will be checked at an outer cordon before entering the stadium. Bags larger than A4 will not be permitted entry.

    Bottle policy

    Sealed water bottles up to 500ml will be allowed entry. Any water bottles with a broken seal or over 500ml will not be allowed in for security reasons.

    Smoking policy

    The stadium is a non-smoking venue.

    Prohibited items

    As per the venue’s Ground Regulations, the following items are prohibited: Professional cameras with large telephoto or detachable lenses / Video and audio recording equipment / knives / illegal substances / vapes / fireworks / smoke canisters / air-horns / flares / weapons / dangerous or hazardous items / laser devices / bottles / glass vessels / cans / poles / political banners / folding chairs & any article that might be used as a weapon and/or compromise public safety.

  • Despite COVID-19 restrictions ending, it is still important to do all you can to minimise the risk of passing on COVID-19.

    If possible, take a COVID-19 test if you have COVID-19 symptoms to check there is no risk of passing on the virus.

    You can also wear a face covering in indoor and crowded areas and continue to wash your hands regularly or use hand sanitiser provided around the stadium.

  • Please ensure you check the weather forecast prior to departure and ensure that you bring appropriate clothing for all weather conditions.

    Please apply sunscreen regularly even when not in direct sunlight.

    No umbrellas will be permitted in to the stadium. In the event of adverse weather conditions, we would advise bringing a rain mac or disposable rain coat.

    The show will not be cancelled in the event of inclement weather.

  • Tickets will be available to collect on the day of the event from the Promoter box office.

    The Promoter box office can be found in the ticket office behind the East Stand. Please observe signage or ask a steward who will direct you to these locations.

    Any complaints about the Holder’s ability to view the concert from his/her seat (if any) must be made to the Promoter’s on-site box office within thirty minutes of the commencement of the headline act’s performance. Post event complaints cannot be validated. Any other complaints regarding the concert must be made during the concert to the Promoter’s on-site box office, the location of which is described above.

  • If travelling from North of the stadium;

    M6 to Junction 21a, take eastbound M62 leaving at Junction 12. Follow signs for M61 (Bolton/Preston) and leave

    the M61 motorway at Junction 6.

    If travelling from South of the stadium;

    M61 towards Preston. Leave the M61 at junction 6.

    Concert parking

    PLEASE NOTE PUBLIC PARKING AT THE UNIVERSITY OF BOLTON STADIUM AND BOLTON HORWICH TESCO EXTRA IS SOLD OUT.

    Please do not attempt to arrive at the University of Bolton Stadium or Bolton Horwich Tesco Extra by car if you have not purchased a ticket in advance.

    Parking immediately around the University of Bolton Stadium is extremely restricted. Residential streets in the vicinity of the stadium are also subject to parking permit restrictions. Parking enforcement officials will be in operation.

    Stewards and marshals will be on site to provide any assistance as you arrive and leave the concert car parks.

    We anticipate that it is likely to take up to two hours for all cars to leave the car parks and surrounding area due to traffic.

    We ask that for your assistance and patience as we get everyone out of the car parks, off site and on their way home as quickly and safely as possible.

  • Vehicle pick up or drop off areas will be located at Bolton Horwich Tesco Extra located 10 minutes’ walk away from the University of Bolton Stadium.

    In the interest of safety, do not attempt to drop off or pick up on De Havilland Way, Burden Way, The Linkway, Mansell Way.

  • A shuttle bus service will be in operation from Bolton Interchange, Chorley Railway Station and Wigan Robin Park to the University of Bolton Stadium.

    Pre-event buses will operate frequently from each site between 2pm-8pm. Between 2pm-5pm buses will run every 30 mins. Between 5pm-8pm they will run every 20mins. The last bus to the University of Bolton Stadium will leave at 8pm.

    Post event buses will depart from Parklands. Queuing lanes will be in operation, clearly marked with your destination and with stewards on hand to ensure you are in the correct queue. Buses will run frequently and start immediately after the concert ends. Buses will depart when full and return to collect any remaining passengers.

    Return bus tickets will cost £10.00 for adults and £5.00 for children. Tickets will be available to buy on the day on the bus with cash only.

Food & Drink

  • There will be a wide range of food and beverages available to buy. Alcohol will be available to buy for adults aged 18, however you will be required to provide photo identification as proof of age.

    Bolton Wanderers’ pre-show festival Burnden Parklife will open its doors from 12pm - 4pm.

    Located across the BWFC Fan Zone and Catering Village, the festival will incorporate a variety of food and drink options as well as live music to get the party started!

    There is a capacity of 2000 across the two areas.

    Located in the East Concourse, the Premier Suite which will provide food and beverage for the pitch and East Lower stand ticket holders.

    Gourmet food vendors such as The Striped Pig serving dishes from philly beef to vegan rolls, Cubanitos, serving dirty fries and a range of burgers and hot dogs, Grandpa Greene’s Luxury Ice Cream and Slattery’s confectionary will be located in the Premier Suite. Alongside this will be a 28ft long bar and additional toilet facilities.

  • The kiosks all take contactless/card payments.

  • If any customers suffer from a condition that requires specific dietary requirements, please contact reception@bwfc.co.uk prior to arrival to obtain permission to bring those products in, otherwise they will be confiscated on entry. Searches will be applied at point of entry and guests will be asked to discard any food or drinks before entering.
